Back in your Head

Tegan and Sara is really cool!

The are lesbian twins (no, not lesbian with eachother, they are lesbians, and they are twins. seperate facts) from canada.

They're really pretty. Too bad huh!

listen to Back in your Head - Tegan and Sara.

Let the cool goddess rust away

Let the cool goddess rust away

I found
A new face
A new image staring back at me
Let the cool
Goddess rust away
Let the cool
Goddess rust away
You so different
In a different way
But what goes up has so far down to fall
So go salvage
Some of that human dignity
It'll be a long
hard
road

-Clap your hands say Yeah

There are lots of different oppinions about the lyrics of this, since they sing so inaudibly, but I like this one best.

The reason I chose it is because I had to make relationship decisions rescently and I feel I have to stick with them. It's just better for everyone. Now the other person is so damn charming and I just can't help but doubt myself! Women just mess with you. for fun. Or by accident. I don't really understand it all.

None the less, the cool goddess should just rust away :).

Fool in the Rain

Beforehand I was reading a very inspirational book and I felt that I wanted to listen to real feel-good music while running. I then decided to skip pass all my usual unconventional, and downright Indie, music and to go directly to Coldplay. After being recommended to me by a friend, they have certainly grown on me. I started with Lovers In Japan (Osaka Remix) which climaxed into a spectaculour kaleidoscope of orchestrated harmonies. After awhile, I realised that I was running at a real good, steady pace. It perplexed me.

Dit tref my toe.

Untitled (I guess)

You've got to hide your love away

Here I stand with head in hand,
Turn my face to the wall.
If she's gone I can't go on,
Feeling two foot small.

Ev'rywhere people stare,
Each and ev'ry day.
I can see them laugh at me,
And I hear them say.

Hey, you've got to hide your love away.
Hey, you've got to hide your love away.

How can I even try,
I can never win,
Hearing them, seeing them,
In the state I'm in.

How could she say to me
Love will find a way?
Gather round all you clowns
Let me hear you say.

Hey, you've got to hide your love away.
Hey, you've got to hide your love away.

Also Frightened

LISTEN - Animal Collective - Also Frightened.mp3

I recently had the pleasure of sharing my first KKNK experiences with Johan Schutte, a good friend of mine, and he burned me a DVD full of some of the strangest music I have ever heard...

but on this DVD was a bunch of music from a band called Animal Collective.  So at first I thought that it has a very strange, somewhat hard-to-listen to sound to it, but as time passed their music really grew on me, so now I can truly say I'm a fan.

Here is the strange part...
I also discovered a band called Panda Bear in between my endless arrays of musical folders.  And then I got the Indie Rock Playlists from my friend and I discovered Avey Tare, also a seemlingly unknown artist.   Strange enough  Animal collective is a collection (thu
s the name) of musicians including the two childhood friends, Avey Tare and Panda Bear (Obviously not their real names).  So I, by accident, uncovered an entirely desolate part of the musical world, by accident.  They rule the lands of Baltimore, Maryland and beyond.

weird... but so worth it.  Animal Collective is a brilliant band.
